Install Planet Samuro

At present (in 2024) Planet is only available on PC.

For PC Windows : Download

Planet runs on PCs with Windows 7 or higher, Intel i5 processor or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, SSD disk recommended. For an enjoyable experience, we advise you to use a large screen, a good keyboard and a good mouse, because you will write and click a lot.

If you see a blue screen, click as shown in the images :

  

Here's how to solve a few other problems you may encounter when installing Planet Samuro.

Problem 1 : your antivirus software gives an alert

Don't panic, it's not uncommon for Planet Samuro to generate false alerts. We advise you to place the Planet directory in the antivirus exclusions.

For Windows Defender :

  1. click on the Windows Security icon
  2. Protection against viruses and threats
  3. Manage settings
  4. Add or Remove Exclusions
  5. Yes
  6. Add an exclusion
  7. Folder
  8. and add here the Planet folder found by right-clicking on the Planet icon, menu "Open file location".
    for example C:\Users\"name of PC"\AppData\Local\Planet3D

Problem 2 : error : Planet is not compatible with your PC


Planet is 64-bit software that will not run on 32-bit Windows.
So here you will have to upgrade your Windows.

Problem 4: Your PC is in Mode S


Windows S Mode is a mode where only applications from the Windows Store can be installed and run. If you want to install applications from outside the Microsoft Store, you can get out of it very easily.












Problem 5 : your PC runs under linux

Planet is Windows software. If your PC runs Linux, for example Ubuntu, you can install Wine ( https://www.winehq.org/ ) to run Windows programs under Linux.

Problème 6 : your PC runs under Apple

Planet is Windows software. If your computer runs under Apple, it is possible to install an emulation to run Windows programs. Since the way to do this is constantly evolving, we advise you to ask a search engine how to do this.
